| Thanks for your interest in the Trapper 300 and particularly in Trapper 300
activities in the Plymouth (UK) area. |
| You will no doubt have already found the website devoted to these delightful cruiser racers; http://www.trapper300.org.uk/ and indeed the Trapper Owners Association forum; "A place for owners and enthusiasts of the Trapper family of yachts". |
 |
This is different, this site is intended to give a taste of what a local group of T300 owners get up to each year. It is intended to develop into a central resource for West Country based owners and enthusiasts; a point of reference providing information on planned events, racing schedules/results, a resource for the sale of local boats, suitable secondhand chandlery and design-specific equipment. |
In the absence of the original builder to market the class, the responsibility falls to us, the owners, to promote the class and provide a window on this affordable cruiser/racer's designed attributes. We are also in a prime position to help fellow T300 owners with advice born of experience.
With twelve Trapper 300's sailing in and around the Port of Plymouth, and four more spread within a short distance to either east or west of Plymouth Sound, we have the largest accumulation of the boats outside the UK's Solent area.
The hope is to build on this strong foundation and increase the numbers of boats being actively sailed in the West Country's peninsular yet further.
